Successful Production Upgrade for Automotive Silicone Sealing Parts

A manufacturer specializing in automotive silicone sealing components was facing several production challenges, including unstable product dimensions, material waste, and low production efficiency. As customer requirements became stricter, the factory needed a more stable and automated liquid silicone rubber (LSR) production solution to improve both product quality and output capacity.

After detailed communication about the customer’s products, mold structure, and current production process, we provided a customized LSR injection molding solution. The system included an advanced LSR dosing unit, precision injection molding machine, temperature control system, and supporting automation functions. The equipment was designed to improve material feeding accuracy and maintain stable injection pressure during production.

During the testing stage, our technical team assisted the customer with machine parameter optimization, mold matching, and production training. After the new system was put into operation, the customer achieved significant improvements in production performance. Product consistency became much more stable, and the defect rate was greatly reduced. The automatic dosing system also helped minimize material waste and improve silicone utilization efficiency.

Compared with the previous production setup, the upgraded production line increased daily output while reducing labor intensity for operators. The customer was able to shorten production cycles and respond more quickly to growing demand from the automotive industry.
