Compared with solid rubber molding, our LSR injection molding eliminates multiple processing steps like mixing and pre-molding, significantly reducing labor costs, energy consumption, and required floor space.
The fully closed automatic processing system removes human error variables while maintaining product dimensional accuracy and internal quality - particularly important for medical applications.
With extremely low viscosity (10-1000pas) and superior flow characteristics, our system operates at much lower injection pressures (typically 20MPa, sometimes below 1MPa) than conventional rubber or plastic molding. This enables flash-free production, reduced material waste, and minimal equipment wear.
The rapid curing process (160-220 seconds) ensures short cycle times and high production efficiency. Minimal back pressure requirements (typically under 1.5MPa) maintain precise metering accuracy while accommodating various material viscosities.
While LSR experiences no molding shrinkage, designers should account for the 2-3% post-cooling shrinkage typical of these materials.
