Technology Overview
Liquid silicone injection moulding machines employ cold runner technology. After precisely blending the low-temperature liquid A and B components of silicone in the correct ratio, the mixture is pressurised by a screw and injected into the high-temperature mould cavity. Under the mould's heating action, a rapid chemical cross-linking reaction occurs, causing the material to cure and form. This achieves high-precision, high-efficiency automated production.
Working Principle Flow
  1. Raw Material Delivery and Mixing: Liquid silicone rubber components A and B are conveyed in fixed ratio through an automatic feeder to a static mixer for thorough blending.
  2. Injection Moulding: Mixed liquid silicone is propelled by a screw through a cold runner system and rapidly injected into preheated mould cavities.
  3. High-Temperature Vulcanisation Moulding: In the heated mould, liquid silicone undergoes rapid chemical cross-linking reaction, solidifying into elastic, stable products.
  4. Pressure Holding and Cooling: Constant pressure maintains dimensional accuracy during curing, followed by cooling and product removal.
  5. Automation and Repeat Production: Complete cyclical automated process minimizes manual intervention and enhances production efficiency.
